We are proud to announce the return of Total Vision DeLand with Dr. J Ryan Timko.  A native of DeLand Florida, he attended DeLand High School and later completed his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Connecticut and his Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in 2005. 

While at the University of Connecticut he was a scholar athlete and played 5 seasons on the UConn football team where he was voted co-captain his senior year. He then completed his doctor of optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Timko’s specialty rotations were in ocular disease, contact lenses and pediatric vision development and therapy.
Prior to starting Total Vision DeLand he practiced in Sarasota, Florida in a large ophthalmology optometry practice specializing in pre and post op care for cataract patients, primary care optometry, contact lenses and pediatric exams. Since 2011 he has been serving DeLand and New Smyrna Beach optometry services practicing full scope optometry. 
Dr. Timko is a Florida board certified optometric physician and a national board certified optometrist. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Timko currently lives in DeLand, Florida with his wife Crystal and their two boys Haden and Owen. Dr. Timko and family enjoy the outdoors, camping, boating and spending time together.
